Can I get auto insurance coverage for a 24 hour period in ontario?
I've sold my vehicle, buyer lives 2 hours away….neither of us can afford to have it towed. So just curious aslong as the vehicles still in my name can I get auto insurance coverage to last just for a 24 hour period?

Best Answer – Chosen by Voters I know of no insurer in Ontario that offers auto insurance for that length of time. If you currently have an auto policy that policy may be able to provide coverage for that length of time, but no insurer is going to do a new policy for that length of time.

If you want you can get auto insurance in Ontario for one day, but that's going to be very expensive.You buy the insurance and then call back in few hours to the Insurance company and cancel the policy will tell insurance company that you got good rate in elsewhere starting tomorrow and then cancel the policy.But you have any other question about your policy or coverage go to http://www.autocoverage.ca.If you are insured now just extend it.
