By law no one is authorize to take out a Life Insurance policy on you with out your knowledge unless you are a minor. If someone takes a policy on you, he/her and the insurance agent are committing a felony. Although we don’t like it there are people out there who have no ethics/morals. If you are aware of what company it is you can report the agent to your State Department of Insurance. Request a copy of your policy, check the name on the beneficiaries (its probably who took the policy out on you) It also contains where it was taken, amount of policy value (Face value) and what city it was written at.There is no data base of people who have life insurance if you don't have the name of the company it would be extremely difficult to find more information. No. You have to sign the application, and give blood/urine/saliva to the guy who comes for the paramed exam. You have to show id to prove it's you. There is no central database, sorry. Insurance transactions are private information. Source(s): agent, 21+ years
