Insurance is not tied down to a state or location you live in. You purchase insurance to cover the vehicle no matter where you drive or live.

No. But it would be great if your car insurance is covered nationwide.

No you don't but I would go with a company that is nationwide. I am miltary and I have insurance through geico because I move alot. I live in Florida now. So that is how I know. It is pretty easy to do, good luck.

No but it would be a good idea to have someone local that can help you if you have a claim.

I dont think so, I have not lived in California for 4 years now and I still have California insurance. I dont think it matters just as long as you HAVE insurance
