Do I really have to disclose everything for a life insurance quote?
My wife has a family history of cancer which is causing my life insurance quote to change from $100 a month to $300. Do I really need to disclose this info to the companies, or should I not tell them as they would need permission anyway to check history and doctors records???

I am assuming when you say my life insurance you are talking about a joint life police with your wife. Otherwise it would be a bit of a strange question. Try this site http://free-best-life-insures-comparator-usa.blogspot.com/Here you can get quotes from different life insurance companies in your area, its the best way to find an affordable life insurance with a reliable company.

Why does your wife's history have anything to do with YOUR life insurance quote? If you have her on your policy as a rider, then remove her and put her on her own policy and also check around for another carrier that may be more lenient in their underwriting. Usually, if I see any questions regarding cancer history it's if any family member (direct) has had death from cancer prior to age 60.

You would be lying on an official document that is gonna cheat them out of money. If they find out the best case scenario would likely be loss of the policy (and all the money already paid in) and a lawsuit. The worst case scenario (and likely scenario) would be jail. If they ask the question and you do not answer or it, or worse lie about it that is called fraud. That could void the policy AND land you in jail.
