Do you have to have a vehicle to get an auto insurance quote?
ok so i am wondering how much insurance would be for someone like me who has no credit and never owned a car before. i have tried checking online for quotes and stuff but i dont even have a car, and the sites like geico or progressive require u to have a vehicle to even get a quote. i live in minnesota and im 24 if that makes a difference.

Tell the insurance company the make and model of a car you are thinking about getting…Rates range from vehicle to vehicle. There is now way they could give you a rate without a vehicle…For instance a car with a lien requires FULL coverage, and one that is paid off, requires liability….So…a corvette that has a lien might be..200 dollars a month…where a paid off Toyota Camry might be 50 dollars a month….quite a difference
