Nope, no way to beat it. Sorry, he'll have to pay smokers rates. Which makes sense, because if he lies on the application, it can void out the policy, which kinda defeats the whole purpose of having it, ya know? Source(s): agent, 21+ years

The best way to beat the test is to embrace it. Don't try to get around it. The test is unbelievably accurate. If your friend plans on qutting at some time in the future, he can re-apply to get it reduced to non-smoker rates.Just bite the bullet and pay the extra rate for a year. It'll be that much more encouragement to quit. The legal and ethical gymnastics you need to go through to avoid paying nicotine rates are not worth paying the little bit extra. Also, that part about "just going to another company" if you flunk on the last one? No dice. They'll ask you if a policy has ever come back "other than applied for." You're right back in the fraud game, my friend.I don't know if this counts as a "judgmental, moron answer," but it's the one I'm sticking to.

Have a nonsmoker of about your height/weight take the paramedical for you.Note:This is FRAUD. If you are caught, you can go to prison. In addition, if it is found that you lied on your application and you die during the contestability period (usually 2 years), the insurance company won't pay your death benefit. This is a bad, bad idea.

Aaron is correct, all he is going to do is invalidate his policy. There is a clause, right about his signature that he swears that his information is correct and if he knowingly lied the entire policy is null and void. Why would he risk his families well being? He has chosen his method of death, but he is now adding a hardship on his family that is easily avoided.

The only way to "pass" a nicotine swab test is to have not used tobacco for 6-8 weeks before the swab is taken. Your buddy's best bet is to say he made a mistake on the paperwork. Otherwise he may be charged with attempted fraud!

I'm not sure if this works for swab tests, but goldenseal works in 100% of the cases I've heard of for urine tests. It works by absorbing the nicotine from the bloodstream. Take 3x the recommended dose (it's about as harmful as alfalfa) for 7 days before the paramed exam. If he can, have him stop smoking for 4 days prior, this will ensure that all of he nicotine is absent from his body. The worst thing that happens is that the insurance company issues him a smoker's rating, in which case his premium will be higher and he does not have to accept the policy. He is then free to apply anywhere else. Obviously, this is not legal or moral, but I have firsthand knowledge of the process. It's not true that he could be charged with attempted fraud. It is true, however, that his beneficiaries may only recieve the premiums paid instead of the death benefit if he dies during the contestibility period (usually 2 years in most states).

Go to your local head shop and get a urine cleaner for drugs, works on nicotine also. The policy would only be voided if he died from lung cancer in the con-testability period. Otherwise they would take the premium amount he was supposed to pay from the death benefit amount.

Sorry, there is no way to cheat the med exam. Source(s): I am a licensed insurance agent. We do the swab test in the office and there is no way to cheat the agent. If you are having a para-med exam (a nurse comes to you), they give a physical and swab at that time (they also do a blood and urineanlysis test)

Take a jar of pickle juice, add two Tbls of Salt, a shake of hot pepper and gargle for about 45 minutes. That should do the trick.OK 24 hours has past, I hope you tried my advise and spent some time gargling. BTW, you can't "beat" the test unless you stop smoking for 6-8 weeks. Don't be a cheap bastard, pay the smoker rates you cheat-the-system *^%(*^&^^ Source(s): http://ohio-insurance-forum.blogspot.com…

If he dies during the period of contestability (varies from state to state) and the company can prove he lied about using nicotine, they will refund the premiums and nullify the contract instead of paying the death benefit. So trying to beat the test probably isn't the smartest thing for his named beneficiaries. If he doesn't think he could die during the contestability period, why bother taking out the policy to begin with?I'm guessing since he's doing a swab test instead of a urine test, it's not a competitive company anyway (different underwriting styles). Try shopping around to save money instead of committing insurance fraud. Source(s): Independent agentFormer insurance brokerage manager
