What homeowners and auto insurance do you recommend?
I am shopping for homeowner's and Auto insurance. Progressive is the cheapest, and I like the fact that they cover pets that are riding in your car too. I am looking at them as well as Ameriprise, and Amica. Allstate and Nationwide seemed high, State Farm and Gieco will not give me Earthquake coverage which is a must. Thank you.

By reading a recent survey, I have discovered that the highest satisfaction with car insurance (not that anybody likes car insurance) goes to Allstate. As for homeowner's insurance I can't really tell because I dont know where you live. I hope I helped.

I am a Nationwide agent. They are definitely not the cheapest, so if price is your only concern, forget about them. However, if you want to make sure you're going to be well taken care of in the event of a claim, go with Nationwide.

LOL They cover PETS riding in your car? For WHAT? I haven't heard of that one. I wouldn't start to make a recommendation, I have NO information about you, to base it on. Except that you have pets. Source(s): agent, 21+ years
