I have a 1998 Civic EX worth about $5000. I have only liability insurance in which i pay $40 a month. Sometimes it just worries me that if I have an accident and my car is totaled, I wont have another $5000 to cough up for a new car. Should i get collision coverage?

Best Answer – Chosen by Voters For a $5,000. car, In my opinion, It is not worth it. How much would collision coverage cost per year? Do the math. Getting It , is of course, up to you.

Yes, unless you already have 5,000 in your bank to replace the auto..
