When buying life insurance what is the best affordable option?
I am 37 with 2 kids I currently have term life on me for 250,000.00 and 100,000.00 on each of the kids.
Now there are tons of different life insurances out here is one really better than the other?

You really need term life, not whole life at this stage. The $100k for your children is excessive, all they need is less than $5k each if any to cover burial costs since they are not supporting anyone.You should up your coverage even if you aren't working unless you have insurance through your husband. Met Life is fine but you can certainly compare rates with other providers. As already mentioned in your situation term life appears to be the best bet. Like they mentioned about the kids you're not gonna need a big policy on them. Term life is a good choice. There's no cash surrender value or dividends, but it's the most affordable choice. You don't need that much insurance on your kids. If they die, God forbid, you just need enough to bury them. Take out policies of maybe $10,000 each for them, and use the money instead to up your policy as much as you can. I used to listen to a money talk show, and they just didn't believe in buying life insurance on children.Term life on you, I believe is your best bet….You might want to look on-line for the best rates…
