Where do residents of Kane County Illinois bring their proof of auto insurance?
My husband let his auto insurance lapse. He got caught, and the police officer told him to get insurance and take it to an office to show that he has it. Where does he do that in Kane County Illinois?

Best Answer – Chosen by Voters You got a fix it ticket from the police. Read the ticket, which will have the information on it as to jurisdiction and where you are supposed to appear. Go to that court clerk, and show them you now have insurance on the car. They will note it and tell you what to do next. It may be that will end it, and you won't have to appear.

Have you given any thought at all to call the police Dept. that issued the ticket and ask them where to take the proof?
