Why does a job application ask if you have auto insurance?
I am applying for a delivery truck position. On the application, it asks if you have auto insurance. Are you supposed to have your own insurance when driving for a company, or do they have their own insurance on all of their trucks?
Also, I worked for a temp. agency as my last job.. I have been applying for quite a few jobs lately, but I haven't gotten any calls back.. Is it alright to call the temp. agency to find out what they have in my file, or what they tell potential employers when the call?

Best Answer – Chosen by Voters If you are applying for a driving position, you have to have insurance. If your insurance company dropped you, the company won't want to hire you.Regarding the temp agency, call them every day and see if they have work for you.
