As a Lakers fan, since the early 80's (my home team), I am happy to see our old rivals finally getting to the top of the league once again – it's been too long! Was close to a Lakers-Celtics finals in 2002, but Boston lost in the Conference finals….. But this team is definitely the best since 1987 – good to see. I say their biggest challenge in the East is Detroit, and then Cleveland. Then from the West, I only see the Spurs giving them a challenge (I think they match up well vs. the Suns & Mavs).

I think they have a great starting 5, a decent bench and great coaching (doc rivers is going to the all star game) and they have an underrated point guard (rajon rondo) they have a great chance of it all this year.

well, i agree that it's good the celtics have the best record and also they are playoff material again. the only thing i don't like is that they only have 3 good players which carry the team. ray allen and garnett, and pierce a bit. all the other players i don't like watching as much

I am Laker fan, and yes I am glad to see them dominating again. II got tired of kicking your A5S for the past 20 yrs.jk (not really)but a frachise with the history like that should have its glory restored so it is a good thing.can't wait to meet you in the finals >:}
