Best Answer – Chosen by Voters Well your right hand should be on top of your left hand, then your right hand. then if your right hand is below your left had your left handed, that is when your grip the club. Now you can just swing a club, because if you swing right handed and it feels good you are probably that way, i can not even take a full swing swinging left handded, i do it sometimes because i am under trees and stuff.

"I know that when playing I should hold the club with my left hand." Wrong – you hold the club with both hands, not just your left hand.As a right hander you're more than likely going to use right handed golf clubs. Do you play baseball? Do you bat left or right. In all likelihood you will golf the same as you bat.

What? You either swing right or left, they aren't interchangeable. I'm thoroughly confused by your explanation so I'll make it simple.Take a full swing from the side which feels most comfortable and look at which hand is lower. That's what clubs you need.
