there is no question about golf that can't be answered on the 1st tee first thing in the morning

There are at least 44 questions about golf – not a lot, but there's only one about handball — and it's "What the heck is handball?"As for your question, I don't know. Golf is really popular – maybe the golfers are out playing golf, and not stuck to their computers.

I agree with you that golf is fun. It has so many facets to this game and you can play till you are about 80+ years. I have played with some of these senior citizens. There are various challenges in golf:1. Hitting the ball straight and long2. Hitting the ball straight and to an exact distance3. Hitting the ball from all kinds of grounds…..fairway, rough, sand4. Putting to a hole from various angles and slopeIt is a game of finesse, of fine touch. It requires both skill and strength. It requires some basic Physics principles to understand the flight of a golf ball in flight. These principles are taught in Physics class at grade 11 or 12.I agree with what most people say about the game:It is time consuming, expensive (especially in Asia), very frustrating – as no one can truly say that you have mastered it.After taking up golf, I threw away most of my tennis rackets although I was a part time tennis coach.

I also love golf. However, I just found out that I loved it about three years ago. I never wanted to play golf because I had seen in on TV, and found it very slow and boring to watch. It wasn't until I tried it that I fell in love with it. But, hey if they don't want to play more time for us!

I agree! Personally I think golf is wicked fun. I simply don't have the time to play anymore. It was rather time consuming for me because i'm not that good. Even though I wasn't good I had a lot of fun!

1. It's an expensive sport.2. It's very time consuming. 1 Round takes 5 hours usually! 3. It's a very difficult game and can be extremely frustrating at times. 4. It requires a lot of dedication and self discipline.

I dunno… I don't have the concentration or the will to be honest. I can understand why some people would enjoy, but I'm not one of those. I tried it once and I couldn't play for my life!

I agree. Golf is my favorite sport and I play whenever I can. With that said, golf can be expensive and if you live in a very dense urban area or a really remote rural area you might not have convenient access to a lot of courses that are reasonable in condition and price. Also a round of golf can take 4 hours so if you don't have that much free time it can be hard to get to the links. Hopefully more people will continue to play and the First Tee programs will work their magic. Hit 'em straight.
