Visit your nearest "pack and ship" retail store. If you don't want to spend about $100 for a rigid club case, send the clubs via UPS or Fed Ex Ground if it's not inconvenient for your brother to be without his clubs for 2 or three days. Be sure to get adequate insurance and a method to track the delivery to the destination point. If a hotel call the bell captain to be on the lookout for the package and give your brother $5 or $10 to tip the bell hop. Special clubs such as a putter or wedge set can be boxed and checked in with his luggage. Compare the prices since airlines routinely charge for extra baggage and extra weight. A full set with shoes, umbrella, rain gear etc can weigh in at 30 pounds. You can check and get all the numbers at UPS, Fed EX and the USPS. Don't forget about airline freight services. Source(s): Have travels around the globe. Only incident of clubs misplaced was on a United flight from Miami to Seattle. Clubs went to St. Louis. Never had a problem with UPS or Fed EX and continue to send clubs in adavnce of my arrival.
