Best Answer – Chosen by Voters Contact the pro shop at your local golf course/club. Look in the yellow pages under golf. The clubs pro shop should be able to reffer you to several proffessional trainers. And the lessons aren't cheap, so save up.

Go to your local golf course or golf range…there is usually a golf pro that gives lessons. Usually a one on one lesson will cost you around $40 a session. There is also a option of doing a group lesson for cheaper.

My father is a teaching professional in the state of Georgia. Most local teachers work at a pro shop five days a week and are normally contacted through the course's pro shop. My father charges $40 an hour although depending on where you are, the rates may go up or down….The internet should provide some possible ideas such as "Bird Golf Academy," which my father is an instructor for. Schools such as this one will fly the teachers to you, and normally you will get a week's worth of lessons, on and off of the golf course. These types of lessons cost much more but there are many types of lessons that are available for different prices. Hope this helps. Source(s): http://www.birdgolf.com

call to any golf course…usually the head pro gives lessons or can refer you. Price depends on their free time for some…you'll get various price ranges so call around.
