Best Answer – Chosen by Voters Who knows where the money comes from. Most likely the parents but maybe the kid has a part-time job and spends all of his money on golf. Shiny new clubs doesn't mean low scores. Don't be so concerned about it. It seems to be a distraction for you. I would seriously doubt that they have a sponsor. Sponsors want a return on their money and that doesn't happen in junior tournaments. Just do the best you can and play in as many tournaments as you can afford. Maybe a part-time job at a golf course so you can take advantage of the facilities for practice and order clubs at their cost. That's what I did(many years ago).

Golf is very expensive, most people are rich and can just afford it whenever they want. Others make sacrifices to golf. Some do it whenever. Also you never know when someone has been golfing forever and are asked to come back to tournaments. Whatever it may be, it doesn't matter what you have, it matters about how much fun you have.

usally two reasons rich parents, or have a job and live at home and dont pay bills, what i did when i got started. You can pick up som great deals on clubs if you search the web. Places like http://www.tgw.com has great deals on clubs, But you dont have to buy nike or callaway, cheaper clubs can be just as good just get what feels good to you.

Well, there are lots of ways to earn $$$.I know of a guy who buys used balls in bulks, keeps his share and sell the rest with profit. and the profit strictly goes to his green fees. So if he doesn't sell that much that week, he will just stay at the range to sell more balls after practise.pretty funny but true…

I work a full time job. That is how I can afford playing a few rounds a year. I don't have the nicest set of clubs, and in fact, it doesn't matter how crappy your set is, if you can score low, you are good.
