How does one start a golf team?
I received permission to start a golf team at our very small private school. We are a division four school for basketball and volleyball. Can anyone help me on how to start a golf team

Best Answer – Chosen by Voters first thing i would do is find out how many players would join. My high school team needs at least 6 to participate in varsity meets and 12 to play in varsity/junior varsity meets. Second i would find a course that would allow you to practice there.

You should contact the city to see if there is a league you can play with. Find a group of people in your school who like to play with your team. Once you have a team, you should designate a captain to help keep the team organized. Your team can then sit down and make a list of times you would like to practice and play, some simple rules, and so on. You will also need to find a coach.
