How has the Boston Celtics become so successful in 2007-2008?
During the 2006-2007 NBA Season, the Boston Celtics won 24 games and lost 58 games and were in last place in the Eastern Conference Atlantic Division. During the 2007-2008 season, the Celtics are the best team in the Eastern Confrence and are the 2008 NBA Playoffs. How did the Boston Celtics become so successful in 2007-2008 considering that they were not a great team in the NBA last season.

They have turned back the pages and are using an age old formula to winning in the NBA. 2 stars and your team is good. 3 Superstars and the sky is the limit. Look at San Antonio, Detroit, Los Angeles, and Boston. They all have 3 superstars that can give them 25 plus on any given night and the others will get you at leat 15 – 20 pts each and some boards and turnovers.

They obtained Kevin Garnett and Ray Allen.Really, that's all that needs to be said.

they play in the east. that is the only reason they have such a record.

They traded they're whole team, which was terrible to unintelligent GM's *cough* Sonics *cough* TWolves and got an elite shooter and a great big man, but it's kind of ironic how the Celtics ended up unintelligent in the end because Al Jefferson is putting up just as good if not better numbers than Garnet yea I kno Twolves are a worse team but they don't have Paul Pierce or Ray Allen hell they don't even have Kendrick Perkins so you can't blame Jefferson for that

The PGA Tour. The Boston Three Party. etc. etc.3 superstar, experienced NBA players = 1 great NBA seasonPlus with Garnett and Allen, Pierce has more motivation in playing with Boston. He's got a reason to live and dream big. You better believe he's seizing the moment.

they made some big deals to get some big players like KG and did a great job in the free agency
