18 holes in high school tournaments, but 9 holes during matches on the weekdays. a match(9 holes) takes us from 4 to 7, 3 hours playing slowa tournament(18 holes) pretty much takes you all day because high schoolers are VERY SLOW PLAYERSfor tryouts-yes you should bring a whole set. for my tryouts, my coach called in tee times for 9 holes, so yes to your whole set. i am on my high school golf team and belive me, you will have so much fun if you get on the team. its nerve racking, but a BLAST. you'll meet some great people but my warning to you is you are going to have at least one person that is an idiot and gets under your skin. just ignore them. i know this is more information that what you asked for, but i couldnt help it!!!good luck buddy!!!!!!!
