Best Answer – Chosen by Voters If you're a right handed player and the ball curves to the left, then it's called a hook. I got this from the Golf channel a couple of months ago:When you hook the ball, try to clear your hips faster on the downswing to match your fast hands..

If you're right handed, keep your right elbow close to your body throughout the swing until the follow through. This will help you swing 'inside-out' instead of 'over-the-top' and will promote a nice draw instead of a duck hook. If you're left handed, take a lesson. Good luck!

Thats called a hook. To fix a hook move the ball more back in your stance. If this doesnt work change your grip so the club face is a little bit more open then normal. Try That and youll mast likely see improvements in your swing. Hope this Helps.

The shaft of your club may not be stiff enough or you could try to imagine the end of your grip on your belly button so that your club won't be ahead of your shoulders and hips.

Slow your swing down and open your stance.

i think what your doing is slicing it left. try open your club face a little (angle the face more away from you)
