Best Answer – Chosen by Voters not alwasy depends on how many people are in the tourny and the lenght of days till end.. sometimes you might start at the 9 th hole and work your way around the final hole for you will be the eigth green

Nope, it is possible that people could start on the 10th if there are a lot of people in the tournament.Also like people have mentioned a Shotgun Tournament. Where 18 groups start on each of the holes. A shotgun is fired and everyone tees off and plays.

No, a lot of times it is a shotgun start which is where everyone starts on a seperate hole and someone blows a horn and you just play it from there.

No, most PGA events start golfers off 1 and 10 on Thursday and Friday, and sometimes on the weekend. The Masters does always start on 1.

it depends….if it is a shotgun start then everyone starts on different holes but for most major tournaments everyone starts on the 1st hole
