Best Answer – Chosen by Voters Fit: that is how they swing for a person of your heightQuality: Most clubs in to days used market are of high quality but some may have deep scars on the face of the club or even slightly bent shafts. Avoid at all costs or the money you saved by buying Used will be eaten up in repairs.Gut Feeling: Some times you look at clubs and a little bell goes off. If you really like the clubs, you will hit them better. Good luck.

Read reviews online and hit the ones your interested in, if your not comfortable w/ them then don't get them. Get the ones you like.

My advice is to check the Golf stores…..Golf Galaxy….Golf USA, Golfsmith, Austads. See what they have available. Hit several different sets on the launch monitor. The Data will tell you which ones you hit best. Only buy what you hit best no matter what brand they happen to be.

You first really want to make sure the irons you want are the right lie angle. If the angle is off then it promotes a slice or hook. Another thing you need to make sure of is the shaft matierial. Graphite will help you hit it farther but accuracy suffers. Steel is the other way around. Also shaft flex is a major component. Which of course depends on swing speed.

Your used clubs should be certified and be playable and come with a warranty. The only company that offers that probably is Callway Certified Preowned Source(s): http://www.igolfalot.com
