What do you do before every shot on the golf course?
But because I prefer to hear from everyday people, what always do before your tee shot, fairway shot and putt.
I always take two practice swings/putts and sometimes a 3rd if its a hard shot.
What do you do?

Tee shot-visualize where I want it to go, take a practice swing and let it rip. Irons- depending on distance, decide what club to hit, decide to hit a cut, knock down, 3/4 shot and let it go. Putt- look at the line, take a couple practice swings while looking at the hole, then address and putt. I have a rule about putting; when in doubt, go straight at it.

i practice swing away from my ball at a right angle to where it lies. Then i walk up try to figure my distance find my landing area put my head down and the rest is history……or comedy

I too take two practice swings on the tee… sometimes on my chips I just step up and hit. on my putts…. couple of swings and thats it… Good luck and good golfing… Grant from Pennsylvania Source(s): me

I take a shot of whiskey. But seriously, I just do a Mike Weir thing and practice taking the club back to time it with the shoulder turn. ON putts, I line it up from behind the ball, the line up the Top Flite words toward where I want to putt, and putt it. Phones ringing got to gol
