First of all, find a club which still offers the service of caddies. With the advent of golf carts, the laziness of the American golfer and the great source of revenue that carts give to golf courses, chances are you will see fewer clubs offer that service in the future. Not to digress, if you find that club, there should be an assistant pro who will train you in how to carry a golf bag , how to hold a flag stick, where to stand when players are about to hit their shots, and several other things such as walking ahead of your player and not dragging behind.

Try the link below. If you like the work, depending on where you live, next year you should get started on this earlier. Even places that get a true winter begin using caddies on weekends in the early spring. Most caddie programs work on seniority, and you will be ahead of all the other students who wait until their summer break. Source(s): http://www.teachingkidsbusiness.com/cadd…

Hi You can go to your nearest club – they usually have a caddy foundation or something where they teach caddies. The sad news is you will only be a bag carrier if you don't know much about golf -the good golfers' caddies are usually very low handicappersStrongs
