Best Answer – Chosen by Voters Well, you would have to advise what country you are in so we would know where to get you out of, but depending on your budget there are several good destinations. I have done week-long golf getaways in several places. If you are looking to go all out, try Ireland or Scotland. I went for a week to both, played 5 courses both times, and had an amazing experience. Some of them cost 250 euros to play, and they are very different than NA courses (they all kicked the crap out of me), but it is something every true golfer should do once.On the other end of the budget spectrum, you can do 5 courses in a week in Myrtle Beach, play very nice and well maintained tracks, and not smash your wallet. It won;t be hard to find a one-price package that includes your flight, hotel, and 5 green fees. For something a little unique, look into PEI. There are some absolutely gorgeous golf courses on that little island. Some of the nicest golf I have ever played. It was suggested to me by a friend and I almost thought he was joking. But I looked into it, got intrigued enough to go, and am now doing what I can to plan my next trip. And talk about hospitable people! Not to mention you can have a lobster dinner out there for what an average steak costs inland; lobsters are like stray cats out there.
