Best Answer – Chosen by Voters Get him a gift card for around of golf – cart included – at a course he normally would not play at. This can be expensive but having a father who is one of the worlds top blind golfers, I know something like this is really appreciated. If this is out of your price range, get him a gift certificate for a Pro Shop so that he can pick out something he needs or would never buy for himself.

I CAN'T believe no one mentioned a lesson package or short game school package. It might be over your budget, but if he’s an average golfer, he probably wants to get good at golf and shoot in the 80’s, maybe 70’s.I would love it if my gf surprised me with a short game school. Most golfers don’t really need more trinkets or golf crap. You could also consider a driving range package and GO WITH HIM! That would be cool.

The one thing every male golfer wants and needs is a women that actually listens when he is telling his tail of the links. How he should've, could've and would've if only he did stories.Ideally the lady listening should be naked and have plenty of beer and chips near at hand.Hope I helped you out!

At ***** sporting goods they have a gift basket that sounds perfect for what your looking for. It comes with a nice golf hat, a nice pair of footjoy gloves, a sleeve of pro v1 balls, 200 tees, 50 ball markers, and a free years issue of golf digest. And it is only 30 dollars!

Get him a gift certificate. Golfers are very particular, and the better, or more skilled they are, the more particular they become regarding what equipment and what ball they use. With a gift certificate he can get exactly what fits his game. If you want to get him something to put the gift certificate in, get him a school mascot head cover for his driver.

I agree with wedge that you need to get him a gift certificate to play golf at a course he normally would not play. It depends on where you live. My suggestions across the US are Pebble Beach in California, Pinehurst in North Carolina, Bethpage Black in New York, Shadow Creek in Las Vegas, Whistling Straits in Wisconsin, Bandon or Pacific Dunes in Oregon, World Woods in Florida. Golf balls he will loose in a matter of a few rounds, the memories of playing one of these great courses will live on. Source(s): http://www.pebblebeach.comwww.bandondunes.com

Along the lines of a round at a course he might not normally play, how about the Golf Priviledge Card from the American Lung Association? It offers discounts on greens fees, pro shop purchases etc. And all proceeds go to the American Lung Association's fight against asthma, lung cancer and other lung diseases.http://www.golfprivilegecard.com/Good luck — and happy holidays!
