Best Answer – Chosen by Voters top-flite d2 feel, a good soft low compression ball with good feel on and around the greens, and will go a mile

Try LOCOS or some type of low compression ball . Ask your golf pro about the benefits . Nike makes one and it is great . They play with good feel . Pro V1 and more expensive balls rely on fast club speed to reap the benefits . Most of us don't have that , yet anyway . No need to spend over $20 – $30 . go on eBay and find used mint golf balls. you can find great deals for balls that have been hit only a few times. i suggest knet golf or lostgolfballs, you can get the balls from their online stores or eBay. for a specific ball recommendation i like the pinnacle exceptions.

Nike One VaporTaylorMade Burner or Burner TPBridgestone e5+, e65+, or e7+TopFlite Freak, GamerTitleist NXTWilson Tx4There are plenty. Technology is catching up to the "cheaper" ball- there aren't many types like the old "Rock Flites" anymore.

I play Nike balls and I like them better than any other ball. You can get the 2008 model Nike One Black or Platinum ball for 30 bucks. I like the Nike One Vapor as well and you can get that for the same price.

I used a Maxfli XS Distance last saturday and found it to be good off the driver and irons. I am used to the Titliest NXT's, which are a great ball too.

You would probably want a two piece golf ball. Here are some choices, Srixon AD 333, Tilteist NXT or DT Solo, Callaway Big Bertha or War Bird, maybe the original Taylor Made Burners.

I prefer Nitro Blaster golf balls. They are $5 for 15 at Wal Mart. I lose them on the golf course and feel no guilt. Source(s): Personal preference.
