I personally thinks he deserved it, with the number of goals he scored in the season, and not to mention his skill on the field.

If Gerrard can rebound from his arrest he could easily win, I think he deserves one eventually

If I had to pick a surprise player it would be either Adebayor or Villa

Messi hands down hes the best player in the world today and elevated his game tremendously. He is a legend in the making. Players like ronaldo come and go. players like messi are always remembered aka Maradona. I dont think CR7 oops now CR9 will have a career like Luis Figo

I think Ronaldo deserved that trophy. He is a pretty good player and well I can say he is one of the best.
Me personally I would've picked Fabregas.

I think Messi is the best player in the world at the moment, but Steven Gerrard will give him a go, especially if Liverpool with the EPL/Champions League. It's way too early to call this.
