Why is it that so many people are now supporting the Boston Celtics?
Last year, the Boston Celtics were dead on fans, but this year theres like a gazillion of them. Are these fans just the type of people who support an NBA team just because they have a good record and playing good basketball? If so, then that's rotten.

It's simple you have 3 kinds of fans: #1 The Ride or Die fan!! (the fan that is with the team no matter how they are playing)#2 The Consecutive Game Fan ( the fan that loves to watch & talk about their "favorite" team only when they are on a winning streak) #3 The Playoff Fan ( the fan that only watch's during the playoff's & act like they know what they are talking about during the post season) Source(s): Love this game!

well think about it.last year who did they have? no one but peirce.but they made changes and people like the changes they made. like adding Kg, and Ray allen. also with those additions came predictions of winning a championship, and people were right at the end of that draft night.i just think celtics fans came out of hidding after the additions made in the roster. Suns all the way tho

I don't necessarily think people are fans of the Celtics, they are just predicting they will win the Championship. I think they will win it all, becuase I think they have the best team. I like Garnett and Allen, but I am not a fan of the Celtics.

Think about it like this. You don't see too many Warriors questions nowadays, but you did during the regular season. Why? Is it because we are bandwagon fans? No. It is because when our team is not playing or not playing well there isn't much to talk about. Same goes for the Celtics I assume.
