Will Continental Airlines let me carry on a golf club?
I am flying Continental in a few weeks and was wondering if I can carry on one or two golf clubs. The club would not technically fit in the little bin they have for overhead bags, but I know it would fit in the overhead.

Best Answer – Chosen by Voters The TSA prohibits golf clubs as carry-on items on airplanes, as are baseball bats and spear guns. It doesn't matter if it fits in the overhead bins or not, they are prohibited and you won't past security with your clubs. You'll need to check them in.http://www.tsa.gov/travelers/airtravel/p…

You would not be able to physically carry on a golf club as it would be considered a potential weapon. More specifically, it would be considered a bludgeoning device. The transportation and security administration (TSA) would not allow this item through security. You should call them up, but i doubt they will let u because it can be used as a weapon.
