Best Answer – Chosen by Voters The TSA prohibits golf clubs as carry-on items on airplanes, as are baseball bats and spear guns. It doesn't matter if it fits in the overhead bins or not, they are prohibited and you won't past security with your clubs. You'll need to check them in.http://www.tsa.gov/travelers/airtravel/p…

You would not be able to physically carry on a golf club as it would be considered a potential weapon. More specifically, it would be considered a bludgeoning device. The transportation and security administration (TSA) would not allow this item through security. However, you may check the club in your checked baggage.Best Regards,American Source(s): http://www.TSA.gov and personal experience as an airline agent.

You should call them up, but i doubt they will let u because it can be used as a weapon.
