How do I make a homemade breeding net for my guppies?
My guppies have been having a crazy amount of babies lately, and I’m really happy about it, but I don’t have access to a breeding net so that the older guppies won’t eat the babies.
What are some good materials to making a good quality homemade breeding net? And how to I make it? And maybe some tips on how to take care of the fry? I heard that you can feed them some egg yolk and stuff, but honestly, I haven’t a clue.

I know how you feel!
My platy just gave birth around 3 days ago and the fry are doing very very well.
I understand that the other fish tend to eat the fry, but that’s normal. Some, if not all will die anyways.
Me, I would just leave it in the tank so that they have more swimming room.
After 1-2 days, the babies will have grown enought to “dart” very fast enough so that the other fish can’t eat them.
Make sure that you feed your other fish in the tank twice a day and they won’t even bother looking at the fry.
This is the correct way to feed fry. Put in 2 TSP of food into a plastic bag. Keep squishing and crumbling them until it turns into a powder.
When the food is turned into a powder, dip a toothpick in the tank and then dip the toothpick into the powder. When you do that, just touch the surface of the water with a toothpick and watch the fry eat.

If you really want to use a breeding net, Just buy one for around 3-5$… homemade ones probably won’t help.
